Circa 1960 VERY Late "Stock" City Marshal 6 point Star Badge by W.S. Darley Possibly for Western Film / TV Series Use

ARTIFACT:

This is a Great "Old West" looking "Stock" City Marshal 6-point Star Badge by W.S. Darley made circa 1960 after the company's move from Chicago to Melrose Park. With Hand Stamped Lettering, this badge was made just like actual Old West badges made by the firm in the 1900's - 1910's, and may have been made for use by Film or Television Studios as Westerns were in their heyday around the time this badge was produced.

W.S. Darley was established in 1908.

Circa 1960.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-5/8" in height x 2-1/4" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Nickel Plated Nickel, with Nickel Plated Brass Pin.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical safety-style pin with oval saddle.
