ARTIFACT: This is a 1940's Elk City, Kansas Marshal Badge by W.S. Darley. The badge shows the seal of the State of Kansas and an eagle at top and reads ELK CITY STATE OF KANSAS MARSHAL.

VINTAGE: Circa 1940s.

SIZE: 2-7/16" in height x 1-3/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel-plated brass with black painted letters.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: "W. S. DARLEY & CO. MELROSE PARK, ILL."
