ARTIFACT: This is a great circa 1880's - 1890's "stock" City Marshal badge. The 6 point star badge is small and simple and has stamped decorative embellishments at its center.

VINTAGE: Circa 1880's - 1890's.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/4" in height x 1-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel plated brass with lead soldered brass pin.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical one piece pin with open catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Police and Law Enforcement Collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJJX13 LABEJX7/13 SLACGEX12/30/24

CONDITION: 6 (Fine+): The badge has some areas of moderate wear and the catch is bent down close to the badge but is still functional. The pin appears to have been repaired or replaced during the period of use.
