This is a Nice Old 1930's Nevada County California Deputy Sheriff 6 point Star Badge by Irvine & Jachens.

1930s.

Approximately 2-5/8" in height x 2-1/4" in width.

Nickel-plated brass with painted lettering.

Vertical safety-style pin with oval saddle.
