This is a Late 1930's Imperial County California Deputy Sheriff Badge # 1309 by Irvine & Jachens. Unmarked but football-shaped pin saddle is an Irvine & Jachens trademark.

Late 1930s.

Approximately: 2-3/8" in height x 1-13/16" in width.

Nickel plated nickel with painted lettering.

Vertical safety-style pin with football-shaped oval saddle.
