This is a Large 1930's San Mateo County California Deputy Sheriff Badge # S13 by Irvine & Jachens.

Approximately 3-1/8" in height x 3-1/8" in width.

Nickel-plated nickel with blue painted lettering.

Vertical kick pin with C catch.
