This is a nice old circa 1890s Marple Detective Agency badge. The badge is in a cut-out circle star design and is hand-stamped. The badge is shield-shaped and has a small decorative embellishment at its bottom point.
VINTAGE:Circa 1890s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-11/16" in height and 1-5/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass, brass pin.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin.
MARKINGS:None.
