ARTIFACT: Nice old 1880's-1890's "stock" Constable badge. Hand-stamped and painted letters read: "CONSTABLE" - badge is circle shape in nickel with horizontal pin in brass.

VINTAGE: Circa 1880's -1890's

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/4" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel, hand-stamped and painted letters, brass pin.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with 'c' style catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an antique police badge collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VFJX15 LAFEX2/15 SAEJX1/19

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): Badge shows moderate wear, areas of oxidation/tarnish, nearly all the painted details remain fully intact.
