This is a Nice Early World War II 1942 IV Fighter Command Volunteer AWS Aircraft Warning Service Women Photo ID Los Angeles.
The Aircraft Warning Service (AWS) was a civilian service of the United States Army Ground Observer Corps instated during World War II to keep watch for enemy planes entering American airspace.
VINTAGE:
Early World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2-3/4" in height x 2-3/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Celluloid, Photo and paper, and ink.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety-style pin.
