ARTIFACT: Nice, circa WWII American Red Cross grouping with Photo ID and sterling ID Bracelet. The grouping is named to Gertrude R. Moreng (engraved on obverse of bracelet), the reverse of the ID bracelet reads: "221 KNOX AVE GRANTWOOD, N.J." She was born in 1915, Cliffside Park, NJ and is listed among the names of students in attendance at Columbia University, during 1940-1941. The grouping includes a one year service ribbon, red embroidered ribbon and a lovely five year service pin in sterling and enamel, depicting the Red Cross at the center and reading: "FIVE YEARS". The grouping also includes two A.R.C. collar insignia in blackened and gilt bronze. The photo ID badge reads: "CAMP SHANKS - ARC- ORANGEBURG, N.Y." the center features the photo with Gertrude holding an identification banner reading: "GERTRUDE R MORENG 8233"

VINTAGE: Circa WWII.

SIZE: Photo ID: 2" round; ID Bracelet 7-1/4" x 1/2"; Service Pin: 3/8" round; Collar Insignia: 1-1/4" x 3/8"; One Yr. Service Ribbon: 2" x 3/8".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling, enamel, bronze, ribbon, celluloid, paper, photo.

ATTACHMENT: One year service ribbon: horizontal bar with locking catch; Collar Insignia: double posts with clutchbacks; Photo ID: vertical safety-style pin catch; 5 Yr Pin: horizontal pin with drop in locking swivel catch; ID Bracelet: chain with double fork clasp.

MARKINGS: ID Bracelet: "STERLING"; 5 Yr. Pin: "W"; Photo ID: "WHITEHEAD HOAG"; Insignia: "D&N"

CONDITION: 9- (Excellent+): All items in grouping show minor wear, nearly all the details remain intact. The ID bracelet shows overall tarnish, nice patina.
