ARTIFACT: Nice circa 1920's Š 1930's Milton, New Hampshire Fire Department Badge for Engine #1. The nicely detailed badge features a ladder, helmet, nozzle, and fire pot in a raised shield-shaped embellishment in the center and surrounding it reads: "ENGINE NO. 1 MILTON FIRE DEPT. N. H." and is topped with a perched, spread wing eagle. The reverse features a nice maker's plate that reads: "EVERSON Š ROSS CO. 88 CHAMBERS ST. N. Y."

VINTAGE: Circa 1920's Š 1930's

SIZE: Approximately 2" x 1 3/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Stamped nickel, black paint

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin with 'C' catch.

MARKINGS: "EVERSON Š ROSS CO. 88 CHAMBERS ST. N. Y."

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): Badge shows minor to moderate, nearly all of the plating and painted details remain intact.
