ARTIFACT: 1930's ??? 1940's Rumney, New Hampshire fire department Captain badge. The center of the badge features two horns in raised detail and surrounding it reads: "CAPTAIN RUMNEY F.D." in stamped lettering and is topped with an eagle.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930's ??? 1940's

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/8" x 1-1/2"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chrome plated brass

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin, catch is missing.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a fire fighting and rescue collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBJX16 LAAEX7/16

CONDITION: 5+ (Fine-): The captain badge shows moderate to heavy wear, mostly to high points, pin remains but catch is missing (see photo), couple spots of verdigris, much of the chrome plated details remain intact, overall fine condition.
