Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a nice Chinese-made United States Army Air Force shoulder patch in bullion and blue-violet chenille. The patch shows a winged star at center with a chain-link border.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

2-5/8" diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Chenille embroidered with silk/cotton and bullion threads, cotton backing.

ITEM NOTES:

This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. TRAX10 LFJX9/10 SDJX8/15

CONDITION:

7+ (Very Fine+): Patch shows moderate tarnishing on bullion, light wear at edge and slight puckering.
