ARTIFACT: This is a Nice Ca 1915 Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff Bear Top Badge # 1192 by Chipron. This is from later in the First run of the badges, where Chipron has its maker mark on back in the line below the bear, but where the wear to the die has partially obscured the mark. 

VINTAGE: Circa 1915s.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/4" in height x 1-5/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel Plated Nickel

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal kick pin with 'C' catch.

MARKINGS: "CHIPRON"

ITEM NOTES: This is from a police and law enforcement collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCGEM20 LAAGEX08/07/20

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine - Excellent): The badge shows moderate wear, paint is slightly worn from the lettering, overall 1915's badge shows very fine condition.
