This is a circa 1960s or 1970s Mount Vernon (officially Mont Vernon), New Hampshire Police Chief badge. The badge is topped by an eagle with an enameled Seal of the State of New Hampshire at center. Mont Vernon is located within the Granite State's Hillsborough County.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s-1970s.
SIZE:Approximately 3" in height and 1-3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass, enamel, painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin on bar with drop-in locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:None.
