ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1970s Deputy Chief of Police badge from Chester, New Hampshire. The badge is by Ga-Rel Manufacturing of Providence, Rhode Island, and is numbered on reverse. It has an enameled state seal at its center.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1970s.

SIZE:

About 2-1/8" in width by 3-1/8" in height.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-plated brass with enameled seal and black painted lettering.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical pin with a "drop-in" locking catch.

MARKINGS:

0487 GA-REL.
