This is a circa 1960s or 1970s New Boston, New Hampshire Police badge. The large shield-shaped badge is topped by an eagle and has a Seal of the State of New Hampshire at center. New Boston is in the Granite State's Hillsborough County, which borders on Massachusetts.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s-1970s.
SIZE:Approximately 3-1/4" in height and 2-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass, painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin on bar with drop-in locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:Patent number on bar.
