ARTIFACT: Nice 1930's – WWII Bath Iron Works Police Lieutenant badge in excellent condition. The raised center shows the State Seal of Maine and the shield-shaped badge is topped with an eagle and reads: "LIEUTENANT B.I.W. POLICE" and the bottom shows the number "48".

VINTAGE: Circa 1930's - WWII.

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/8" in height x 1-11/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, painted lettering.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin with drop in Forked locking catch.

MARKINGS: "#10" scratched on reverse

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The badge shows minor to moderate wear, much of the plating and enameled details remain intact, overall excellent condition.
