ARTIFACT:
Beautiful 1930's – WWII Bath Iron Works Police Captain badge in near mint condition. B.I.W. is a shipbuilding company that has built many United States Navy vessels. The raised center shows the State Seal of Maine and the shield-shaped badge is topped with an eagle and reads: "CAPTAIN B.I.W. POLICE" and the bottom shows the number "48".

Circa 1930's – WWII

Approximately 2-3/8" x 1-11/16"
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Gilt brass, enamel
ATTACHMENT:
Vertical kick pin with drop in locking catch.
