ARTIFACT: Beautiful early WWII United States Army Air Forces Observer wing by Orber and is in near mint condition with most of the original lacquer present. This example is an 'Issue' type wing with straight "STERLING" mark only on the reverse.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 3" x 13/16"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling, lacquer

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with swivel locking catch

MARKINGS: "STERLING

ITEM NOTES: This is from a USAAF collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MEFX16 LCDEX10/16

CONDITION: 9 (Excellent - Near Mint): The wing shows minor wear, much of the original lacquer remains intact, overall near mint condition.
