ARTIFACT:

Nice 1930's member badge for the then, Social and Police Beneficial Association. The Association has grown into the United Federation of Police Officers and still exists today. The member badge is starburst-like with the State Seal of New York in the center encircled by a ring of enamel that reads: "WESTCHESTER CO. POLICE CONF." and the bottom of the badge shows the raised enamel letters: "PBA".

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold plated chrome on brass with enamel

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical pin with drop in locking swivel catch.

CONDITION:

7- (Very Fine-): The badge shows moderate to heavy wear, mostly at high points, pin is misshapen, areas of verdigris, much of the enamel, gold and chrome plating remains intact.
