ARTIFACT:

This is a Nice 1930's Peace Officers of California Civil Service Association Badge in Sterling by Entenmann. This is the "Southern California" version of this Association badge, by Entenmann in gilt sterling. Probably from the period around the formation of the organization. This badge Probably belonged originally to  Charles L. Woods San Diego County District Attorney Investigator, as it came with the other area badges from one of his descendants.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1930s.

SIZE:

Approximately: 1-1/2" in height x 1-1/2" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gilt Sterling.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal safety-style pin.

MARKINGS:

"ENTENMANN" "STERLING"
