ARTIFACT: This is a Nice 1930's Peace Officers of California Civil Service Association Badge in Sterling by Entenmann. This is the "Southern California" version of this Association badge, by Entenmann in gilt sterling. Probably from the period around the formation of the organization. This badge Probably belonged originally to  Charles L. Woods San Diego County District Attorney Investigator, as it came with the other area badges from one of his descendants.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s.

SIZE: Approximately: 1-1/2" in height x 1-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt Sterling.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety-style pin.

MARKINGS: "ENTENMANN" "STERLING"

ITEM NOTES: This is from a California police and law enforcement collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MHHZ20 LAGE10/05/20

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge shows moderate wear, and nice patina.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
