Nice 1921 – 1922 New York Automobile Bureau Special Inspector Badge. The brass badge shows the state seal in the center with the word: "EXCELSIOR" beneath. Surrounding the center blue enamel that reads: SECRETARY OF STATES OFFICE AUTOMOBILE BUREAU". The badge is topped with an eagle and beneath it reads: "SPECIAL INSPECTOR", "1921 1922" and between the white enameled details showing the date, it displays the number: "2980".
