ARTIFACT: Circa 1900's – 1910's Philadelphia Bureau of Street Cleaning Special Inspector badge. The coin silver, gold-fill badge features the State Seal in the center in nice raised detail and surrounding it reads: "SPECIAL INSPECTOR BUREAU OF STREET CLEANING" in dark blue enamel detail. The outer edge shows two enamel rings, one of yellow and the other of light blue.

VINTAGE: Circa 1900's – 1910's

SIZE: Approximately 1-7/16" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Coin silver, gold-fill, enamel

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop in locking swivel catch. Period replacement of pin hinge.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a police and law enforcement collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MEJZ16 LCCEX6/16

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The pin shows minor to moderate surface wear, period replacement of pin hinge, much of the gold fill and enamel details remain intact, overall very fine condition.
