This is a circa 1900 sterling United States Bureau of Animal Industry inspector badge. The badge reads U.S. INSPECTOR BUREAU 0F ANIMAL INDUSTRY 984 and shows an eagle at top.
VINTAGE:Circa 1900.
SIZE:2-9/16" height and 1-9/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical T-style pin with "C" catch.
MARKINGS:STERLING.
