This is a circa 1900 New York State Department of Labor inspector badge. The badge reads INSPECTOR DEPARTMENT OF LABOR STATE OF NEW YORK 158 and shows the State of New York seal at center.

Circa 1900.

2" height and 1-1/2" width.

Sterling silver with blue enamel letters.

Vertical pin with forked locking catch.
