Description
This is an "M-1947" United States Army parka in near mint condition. This parka style was also used by the Marines during the Korean War. It is no small matter to put on, weighing in at just under eight pounds, and has a removable lining (including the hood).
VINTAGE:Circa 1947.
SIZE:Size medium.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Cotton blend shell, mouton lining, wool-lined pockets (upper two), metal zipper, resin buttons, canvas belt, metal buckle, leather eyelets, nylon cord.
ATTACHMENT:Zipper, buttons on placket and also on pockets and at cuffs, draw-cords at hood, belt with buckle, snaps along edges to secure lining.
MARKINGS:M on tag.

CONDITION:9 (ExcellentÑNear Mint): The parka is in extremely nice condition with a few small spots of light scuffing and one light stain inside hood.
