Extremely Rare Full-Size American Volunteer Grp (AVG) Pin in Near Mint Condition

This is an extremely rare American Volunteer Group (AVG, Flying Tigers) full-size enameled badge by Whitehead & Hoag Company of Newark, NJ. These badges only VERY RARELY come onto the open market, and this one will be nearly impossible to upgrade due to its exceptionally mint condition.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 1-15/16" in width.

Gold-plated brass with multi-colored enamel.

Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
