ARTIFACT:
This is a World War II United States Marine Corps women's M-41 jacket named to Althea E. Treble (pictured above). The jacket comes with Althea's 1943 yearbook from Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
VINTAGE:
Circa World War II.
SIZE:
Jacket (no size tag): approximately 19" from armpit to armpit; 24-1/2" length from center of back collar to hem; 15" from shoulder to shoulder along back; 23-1/2" from shoulder seam to end of cuff. Yearbook: 103 pages.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Cotton, woven wool lining, metal zippers, resin buttons.
ATTACHMENT:
Zipper, buttons over zipper placket, and at arm cuffs, shoulders and waist.
MARKINGS:
A TREBLE 32 written inside jacket; CONMAR on zipper; ARMY & NAVY PUBLISHING COMPANY INC. BOX 950 BATON ROUGE LA in back of book.

CONDITION:
7+ (Very Fine+): The jacket shows some small spots of light wear and a few pin-sized holes in the back; the yearbook is in great condition with minor cover wear and no rips, markings or stains.
