ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1890s planchet for the National Society of the United States Daughters of 1812 in 14 karat gold. The society was begun in 1892 as a sorority for women with ancestors who served in either the military or civil service or materially aided the United States military from 1784-1815. VINTAGE: Circa 1890s.

SIZE: Approximately 15/16" in height and 15/16" in width.
