Description

ARTIFACT:

This is the most beautiful World War II bullion patch for the United States Army ADSEC (Advance Section, Communications Zone, European Theatre of Operations) ever made. The patch is truly a three-dimensional sculpture in cloth and has retained its original vibrant coloring! The patch shows a blue star against a cloud above bolts of lightning that are breaking a golden chain into two.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 3-1/4" in height and 2-1/4" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Fully embroidered in bullion and silk/cotton threads with felt details and treated cloth backing.
