Description
This is a minty, beautiful and large circa Korean War jacket patch for the United States Navy CVG-19 (Carrier Group 19), as worn aboard the USS Princeton (CV/CVA-37). CVG-19 served aboard the Princeton from 1951 through 195The patch shows a Roman helmet with a rainbow-hued brush at its center. We have two other patches for sale separately that were also worn aboard the USS Princeton during the Korean War and came to us along with this patch (please see links at bottom of page for information).
VINTAGE:Circa 1951-1952 (Korean War).
SIZE:Approximately 5-3/4" in height and 4-1/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/silk/polyester thread.
