ARTIFACT:
This is a minty, circa 1943 WAAC (Women's Auxiliary Army Corps) Enrollee Celluloid Badge. This badge was worn to show patriotism during WWII by a young woman who had enrolled in the WAAC but was not formally a part of them.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1943.
SIZE:
Approximately 1-3/4" in diameter.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Celluloid and steel badge with a steel pin.
ATTACHMENT:
One piece "safety pin" type backing.

9+ (Near Mint-): The badge shows almost no signs of wear. There is also no foxing present on the badge.
