ARTIFACT: This is a circa early World War II United States Army WAAC (Women's Army Auxiliary Corps) enlisted hat badge. WAC was the precursor of the Women's Army Corps. The badge shows a great eagle in relief at its center, which is detachable from the badge itself.

VINTAGE: Circa early World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/2" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Brass.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing, stabilization post.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: The badge you receive will either be the one pictured or one in similar condition. This is from a Women's Army Auxiliary Corps collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBJP13 LHEX9/13 S(1)GE5/14 S(1)GIX7/14

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge has some small areas of medium wear and tarnish.
