Description
This is an early World War II shoulder tab for the United States Women's Army Auxiliary Corps, the precursor of the Women's Army Corps (WAC). The tab was meant for wear beneath the chevrons, and reads WAAC In moss green against an old-gold background.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 3/4" in height and 2-5/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto uniform.
MARKINGS:None.
