ARTIFACT: This is a mint 1950s boxed set of "his and hers" lighters by Vulcan with dolphin engravings and an enameled medallion for the USS Albacore on each. The Albacore was commissioned in 1953 as a test sub and can now be seen at Albacore Park in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Both lighters are unfired.

VINTAGE: Circa 1950s.

SIZE: Box: approximately 4-9/16" in length x in 3" in width x 5/8" in depth; His lighter: approximately 2-1/4" in height x 1-7/16" in width x 1/2"in depth; Her lighter: approximately 2" in height x 1-3/16" in width x 3/8" in depth.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chrome-plated brass with enameled areas, cardboard box with silk lining.

ATTACHMENT: To be carried in pocket to light up your smokes.
