Mid-WWII US Army Rank Stripes for First Sergeant (Single)

This is a mid-World War II United States Army first sergeant rank stripes. The stripe is embroidered in olive thread upon navy wool and shows three chevrons, the third one closed in by an arc at its base and underlined by one more arc. At the center of the stripes is a diamond.

Circa mid-World War II.

Approximately 5-1/2" in height and 3-1/8" in width.

Wool embroidered in cotton/silk threads with mesh backing.
