This is a pair of late World War II United States Army rank stripes for a first sergeant. Each stripe is embroidered in khaki thread upon navy twill and shows three chevrons, the third one closed in by an arc at its base and underlined by one more arc. At the center of each of the stripes is a diamond.
VINTAGE:Circa late World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 5-7/16" in height x 2-15/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Twill embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto uniform.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The stripes show light wear along the edges only.
