This is a mid-World War II United States Army rank stripes for a technical sergeant. It is embroidered in olive threads on navy wool with three chevrons, the third one closed in by an arc at its base, and underlined by one more arc.
VINTAGE:Circa mid-World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 5-1/16" in height and 3-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool felt embroidered in cotton/silk threads with mesh backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months LABX6/11
CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The stripes show only very light wear.
