This is a mid-1950s figural metal coin bank by Banthrico Inc. of the Dover Co-Op Bank in Dover, New Hampshire. The bank, which began in 1890 and hanged names a few times, was located in the Walker Building for years, at the corner of Locust and Washington streets. The building was three stories until 1954.
VINTAGE:Circa mid-1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/2" in height and 4-1/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Metal.
ATTACHMENT:Screws in bottom to remove plate.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): The bank has some small areas of light wear and oxidation and a handsome tarnish.
