This is a mid-1950s pilot wing for Blatz Air Lines, which was founded in 1947 by F.A. Blatz. Blatz flew routes between California and Nevada. The wing is nicely embroidered in gold bullion threads and reads BAL at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa mid-1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 7/8" in height by 3-1/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool wing embroidered in gold bullion threads.
ATTACHMENT:None.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The wing shows some light wear and very minor tarnish.
