This is a late 1950s pilot wing for Blatz Air Lines, which was founded in 1947 by F.A. Blatz. Blatz flew routes between California and Nevada. The wing is nicely embroidered in gold bullion threads and reads BAL at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 7/8" in height by 2-3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gabardine wing embroidered in gold bullion threads.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The wing shows some light wear and tarnish and has two tack holes on its reverse.
