This is a circa late World War II patch-type distinctive insignia for the United States Army 7th Service Command. The insignia is a blue seven-pointed star within a larger white seven-pointed star.
VINTAGE:Circa late World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with come-under locking catch (moving part of catch is missing).
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:7- (Very Fine-): The DI shows light wear; moving part of catch is missing.
