This is a circa 1954 full-size Wellington lighter for the United States Army 8042nd AU at Camp Drake, Japan. The front of the lighter has a medallion of a mountain peak enameled in red, white and blue and CAMP DRAKE REPLACEMENT DEPOT is engraved around it.
VINTAGE:Circa 1954.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/4" height and 1-1/2" width and 1/2" thickness.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Chrome-plated brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Hinge.
MARKINGS:BOX 1064 WELLINGTON TOKYO JAPAN.

CONDITION:7- (Very Fine-): The lighter shows some areas of moderate wear, mostly on reverse and along the hinge side edge.
