Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a Japanese-made full-size risque' novelty lighter by TOKYO from the Korean War era. 

The front of the lighter reads KOREA on top and YOU AND YOUR DAMN MIDNIGHT SNACKS! at bottom, and shows a discontented bare-breasted woman in bed berating her attentive "snacking" bedfellow.

VINTAGE:

Circa Korean War.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-1/4" height and 1-1/2" width and 3/8" thickness.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Chrome-plated brass with painted lettering.

ATTACHMENT:

To be carried in pocket to light up your smokes.

ARIRANG INCHON TAI YANG CO.

CONDITION:

7- (Very Fine-): The lighter has some small spots of wear and some of the lettering is worn away; there is some slight denting in the cover.
