ARTIFACT:

This is a circa late 1970s staff hat badge 7th Issue, Type 1 for Eastern Airlines by Balfour. The badge shows an enameled bird (falcon) logo in white and blue at its center.

VINTAGE:

Circa late 1970s.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-5/16" in height and 1-9/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gilt brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Single screw post with disc backing, butterfly tension plate.

MARKINGS:

Balfour maker mark 1/10 10K GF.
