ARTIFACT:

Late 1960's United States Army National Security Agency MERT (Medical Emergency Response Team) Team B Saigon-made patch. The center depicts a roadrunner-like bird in yellow, purple, and gray detail against a red background and surrounding it reads: "DOCTORS OF ELECTRONIC AND TELETYPE THERAPEUTIS" and top and bottom rockers read: "NSA SAIGON NON CARBORUNDUS ILLIGITIMUS MERT TEAM BRAVO". Non carborundum illegitimi loosely translates to: "Don't Let the Bastards Get You Down".

Embroidered cotton, cotton/silk/polyester threads, muslin backing

7+ (Very Fine+): The patch shows minor to moderate wear, scrapbook remnants on reverse, colors remain bright, overall very fine condition.
