Description

ARTIFACT:

Late 1960's United States Army NSA (National Security Agency) APL 21 pocket patch made in Saigon. The patch depicts an apple with the number: "21" in yellow embroidered detail and surrounding it reads: "NSA SAIGON VIET NAM" and shows two playing cards, the 10 of diamonds and the ace of spades or 21 in Black Jack.

VINTAGE:

Circa late 1960's.

SIZE:

Approximately 3-5/8" in height x 3" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Embroidered cotton, cotton/silk/polyester threads, muslin backing.

ATTACHMENT:

To be sewn onto uniform.

CONDITION:

8- (Excellent): The patch shows minor to moderate wear, colors remain bright, some stain on 3 & 7 O'clock, overall excellent condition.
