This is a circa late 1950s pilot hat badge 2nd issue for West Coast Airlines (WCA). A Seattle-based airline begun in 1946, WCA flew until 1968, when it became Air West. The center of the wing has green enameled lettering.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-5/8" in height and 2-13/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts with clutch-back.
MARKINGS:STERLING.
