This is a late 1950s United States Navy's USS Marlin SST-2 training submarine jacket patch. The patch shows a marlin jumping over a sub and reads USS MARLIN SST-2 MARLIN I (SS205) 1941-1946 MULTUM IN PARVO (much in little).
VINTAGE:Circa late 1950s.
SIZE:4" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Canvas patch embroidered in multi-colored silk/cotton threads and muslin backing.

CONDITION:6+ (FineÑVery Fine): Patch shows some wear and discoloration in spots.
